Dont worry sue theres probably only one or two avaliable at the moment, they seem to have gone quiet this week, make sure you're subscribed to the alerts thread and keep an eye out for things coming up and you should find something else you can do on there! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I have a remortgage enquiry visit for OC on Friday.
I know nothing about mortgages.
I plan to say the following, my house is worth 120K and I have 75K left to pay on the mortgage.
My salary is 30,000 a year.
Does anyone know what type of mortgage I would typically have in the above circumstances and how much I would be paying a month.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, either by PM or posting on here.
:rotfl:
Have done a mortgage call before...and never again!! The fee was way too low!
Don't mean to put you off, but be prepared. Research mortgages very well on the internet....types available, what they mean, average prices, what other banks are offering etc.
You must know every little detail about you (and your partners if applicable) life......full names, dates of birth, where you work, job titles, how long you've been there, any bonuses at work etc.
Write a very comprehensive list of information before you even touch the phone. And if you get caught out with an unexpected question just ask them to repeat it, then repeat it back to them before answering to give you pause for thought.
Good luck0 -

Hi,
I know you received a response advising that the details are on a bank statement, but just wanted to let you know you can check what your IBAN is online at:
http://www.ibancalculator.com/index.php?id=1&L=2
You can confirm it is correct here:
http://www.xe.com/idt/
Finally, you can get your BIC / SWIFT code here:
http://www.swift.com/bsl/freequery.do
Btw, these links are taken from links from a reputable 'naked :rotfl:' mystery shop company.

Thank you for all your helpful replies about my mortgage visit.
It's not a phone call its an in branch visit. The fee is very good.
I will go online tomorrow (on my mobile now) and do some proper research with the help of all your suggestions0 -
Sorry, tax question that has probably been answered somewhere.
If I travel to an area to do for example 4 ms do I claim petrol for only 1 trip there and back as I'm already in the area for the other 3 shops and do not need to drive to them?'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Maybe the bit that says "Mystery Shopping" could be taken out of the title so that when newbies search for info on MS-ing that thread doesnt show up? Timne you started the Alerts thread could that be done?
why would you do that as then newbies (like me) wont know theres an alerts thread to help them and the rest of us?0 -

The tax man wouldn't know whether you went:

or whether you went:
home-j!!! - home - j!!! - home - job 30
