Hi all,

i wondred if anyone as had this happen to them. This morning my phone was working fine, this after my phone kept saying sim care registration failed?

i couldnt understand so i called three...bare in mind from an o2 contract costing god knows what for the 25 minute call. Basically three advised that i had arranged for my phone to be disconnected and to make payments to a debt collections agency?

Errr i not even in debt with the contract my payment isnt due till 13th may, i have in the past paid it late dont get my wrong as it isnt on DD, and i forget.

Can they do this, 3 couldn't even tell me what DCA it would be with. i asked for a supervisor they said someone wud ring me.....hence hours later no phone call and i'm none the wiser.

My contract doesn't end till 22 jan 2010....my mobile number isn't even recognised??

Anyone know what i should do, Thanks guys

Contact their executive head office in Scotland...and send a recorded delivery complaint letter asking reasons for disconnection. If you search in google, it will come with the executive office address. Customer service in India will not sort anything out....

You can find some more contact details here - http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=27333. or contact executive office on 08707 330 295

If you get contacted by debt collection agency, you can cc letter to them and ask for compensation from 3 about their mishandling....

Thank you for the reply. I called executive office they said the couldn't do anything until a case is made with 3 customer services. until i said i was lodging a complaint suddenly she could give me a case number !

she also advised me send a email to a Mr russell and he would look into it. which i have done this afternoon.

Since then i've been into my local 3 shop in town and the CA rang 3, firstly they said i'd rang yesterday and cancelled my contract? then all of a sudden they have sold it out to DCA as i was 2 months behind on my bill. Which i was but i got paid as soon as i could pay it due to work pay days changing. I am not in any debt with them at present but apparently it is too late for them to do anything about it. they advise they don't know which DCA now holds the a/c but i should be receiving a letter from them soon!! what kind of company doesn't know who they have sold an a/c too?

I had this a/c for over 4 years, what are my rights? as i have no requested any DCA involvement and i am not in debt with three. I understand that i will be chased for the remainder of the contract which will be 9 months a £21. So i am going to have to pay for a contract i can no longer use. i'm fuming!

Sounds like someone from collections has mistyped an acc number and you've been cut off rather then the guy that should have been...

You could try calling them again and confirming some info (bank info, payments made etc) but from past posts here 3 are a major pain to deal with when the c**k something up. . .
