Vodafone failed to take payments
Hello board,
Today I got a call from Vodafone saying i owe them £800+ as they have failed to take any monthly payments from my credit card.
I'm sent a monthly bill from them which quotes the date they will take payment and i'd always assumed they'd been taking it. They haven't called, emailed or sent a letter to say they've been having problems and they've left it for over 12months.
I hadn't noticed as it goes on my company credit card and I just pay it off every month.
Do they have a right to request such an amount or are they limited to just 190days? I could request a SAR report from them to prove they havent bothered to contact me.
Any advice well recieved as i cannot afford £800!
Thanks team

Sorry not sure where the 190 days came from, they have 6 years from the time that they notified you to take payment.
you may try and get some reduction as a goodwill gesture, or pay by installments but you signed the contract and they provided the service.
Best thing is to phont them and see what they say. Anyone else (with the exception of Spirit ) is guessing..0
