imo, now is the time to get involved, the prices are low and so is interest ....... seems like common sense to get stuck ini buy houses ........... any condition.0

Houses will always sell at the right price even in the depths of a slump. The only difference is that the right price reduces in a falling market and increases in a rising market.0

There is a real "bounce" in the air: cash rich (or at least proceedable) buyers who have been holding off for a year or so... if something desirable comes on the market and is reasonably priced (or willinf to accept "reasonable" offers) then it is going "under offer" VERY quickly...

Yeah, this is my story too - cash in the bank, didn't need to borrow 100% and could raise a mortgage.
I'd been looking for two years and learnt a lot about houses in that time so when I found my place we had a solicitor lined up, agreed mortgage lined up and the price was right.
I have friends in Leicester who are in the process of buying again. Same story: cash in the bank (inheritance) and able to raise a mortgage for the rest.0 -
We're just in the process of getting the H.I.P. and hopefully should hit the market by the end of next week. It's a lovely little detached bungalow with loads of parking but does need modernisation but has LOADS of potenial.Debras_Angel wrote: »Is it on the market now?0
