Post Office receipts and credit card numbers

Do Post Office receipts show the full CC number or, as is usual, just the last four digits? I ask, because I bough some stamps today, and needed the receipt to claim the money back but lost the receipt. Just wanted to know that if someone picked it up, would it have the full card number on it.

I wouldn't have thought it would have the full number on tbh. Different places might hav different systmes though I suppose. If you are concerned could you ring the post office concerned?

Hello,
Even if it did have the full number on it they never contain the 3 numbers from the signiture strip which without that would be useless.
