Mutli-room Sky help required :)

Ok, so we're buying a new house..
We want to have :
  • Sky+ in our lounge
  • Sky in 2nd living room [multi-room]
  • Sky in Bedroom [sky eye]
We'd like the 2nd living room the be multi-room so that other TV progs and channels can be watched at the same time. The bedroom can be Sky Eye or the like...

The builder spec's 4 cables to the lounge - three down and 1 back up to the roof space. I'm guessing that the other points [living room and bedroom] are just a single coax cables.

If I'm thinking right.... Sky installer would need to link 2 cables from dish to lounge coax - then another to the coax going to the 2nd living room?

Then I'll need to use the uplink from the lounge Sky+ box into a Sky Eye and down to the bedroom?

Would I be better to request 3 cables for the lounge? 2 down for Sky+ and one up. And change the 2nd Living room to have 2 coax down incase we want to avail of Sky+ in the second living room?

thanks in advance!

The Sky installer will fit the dish with a quad LNB, and run 2 connections to the (main) tv in the lounge, he will run two more connections from the dish to the 'multi room' box in the living room (dunno if sky use a cable that contains two separate connections or run 4 separate cables)...both sky boxes need 2 connections so you can view 1 channel while recording another.
Both boxes then need to be connected to the phone line, the Sky installer will provide the telephone extension sockets/cables
The 'magic eye' in a third room would be down to you to fit , but both sky boxes will have a RF output that will work a 'magic eye' device
I doubt the Sky installer would need (or want) to touch the cables the builder puts in
