T Mobile free calls to 08 numbers?

Can anyone please confirm if T Mobile are including calls to 08 numbers such as 0870 within the Flext allowances.

A mate of mine told me once the 08 numbers were free for him on Flext

Thanks, therefore maybe possible to use overseas calling numbers starting 0870 such as on Planettalk.

This only applies if you are on the new 2009 version of Flext. If you are still on the old version then you will be charged extra for these type of calls.

And just to highlight, they aren't "free"...the cost of the call will be deducted from the Flext allowance.

Quite. AND like the misers at 3, it is per minute billing. Talk a second, loose a minute's allowance!
Oh, and if you use more than 50% of your allowance on 08 numbers, they'll bill you for the calls.
