Vodafone Refund Nightmare

Hi,
I had a pay monthly sim that was costing £10 per month and I got a PAC code and transferred my number to another provider. This happened on the 11th Feb. Due to billing in advance for the rental I received a bill stating that I was £6.50 in credit and thought this would have been paid into my bank account. It wasn't and I received another bill that had a £0.00 amount and it listed £6.50 as a debit.
I called Vodafone and asked where my cash was and was told that it would be refunded into my bank account with 10 days. It wasn't so I called again and was told that it would take 15 working days. It has been 15 working days and the money still has not appeared.
I don't really want to call them again, it takes ages to get to speak to someone and they are totally useless when you eventually get hold of someone.
Any ideas on the next course of action. I am thinking of sending and LBA giving them 7 days to get the cash to me or I'll take them to small claims.
I know it is only a small amount of cash but I can't stand the thought of being taken for a ride by this bunch of cowboys.
Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem with them a couple of years ago.
Paid up the last 3 months of my contract over the phone (also got pac number) via my CC and then kept getting bills from them.
Spoke to a CS advisor, who said not to worry about the bills.
I then got a letter stating recovery action was being taken against me!!
Called them again, mentioning the date I paid the outstanding amount and they couldn't find it on their system. Gave them the CS advisors name, both the one who took payment and the one who had told me not to worry about the letters.
They told me there was no record of the payment being made. Whilst on the phone I double-checked my CC statement and the payment had gone through ok.
I was informed that if I didn't pay the outstanding amount within 5 days then the recovery action would be started.
I called the CC company and explained the issue, they siad that the funds had been paid when I first called. They told me that they would contact Vodafone and sort it out.
The following day I got a call from Vodafone saying that there had been an "admin" error on their system and that the money had indeed been paid.
They then asked me why I was leaving and if they could do anything to make me stay:rotfl:0
