internet explorer help!!!

i cannot get into internet explorer when i go into programme files and click on it the connection wizard is there bt the folder is empty.tried several ways to fix this.please help.

    Try
    Start button > settings > control panel > add remove programs > add / remove windows components and reinstalling from there.

    have u tried windowsupdate? see what that comes up with, if your folder is empty then it may of got accidentally deleted perhaps?

    It could well be tucked away somewhere - for example on my pc the program file is in C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

    tried it and when my computer re started i got a message saying internet explorer has been removed from this computer.then when i try to re install it i get a message saying "set up cannot continue because a newer version is installed" so where is it

    internet explorer is not on my start menu nor is it on my programme list so i can't even get the page up.in the programme files it is there but when i click into it a folder called connection wizard is there but it is empty.every time i try do install anything to do with internet explorer it just won't let me because it says it is already insalled.so where is it and how can i fix it.pleeeeease heeeelp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
