    Of course not. It only says "M" if you made the minimum payment that month.

    I would imagine that the fact that the card is "maxed out" would not itself affect your credit rating - creditors want you to max out your cards so you're paying them the most in interest repayments. What they don't want is for you to borrow money irresponsibly, exceeding your credit limit or finding yourself unable to pay the debt back.

    So I believe (no hard evidence - sorry!) that being close to your credit limit won't in itself put a black mark against your name or make it harder to get credit, although the fact that your credit limit is being reduced suggests that Sainsbury's are less willing to lend you money and that might suggest that other lenders will also be less willing to give you credit.

    it says the amound paid off. so if for instance you paid £100 off then it says paid £100 in the last payment info

    A Balance transfer is equal too a payment so how long before they put an extra box in showing the actual payment was a BT.
