not sure that JELY really conveys any image of a garage does it?
where is he based city centre, village, any specialisms MOT testing, general mechanics.
if your in a busy location, might be best to avoid 'A. Mechanic & Sons' type names and go for something which makes you sound like you are part of a bigger chain - better for customer confidence.
you sound like you want something modern!0 -
how about...
'the car stop repair shop'
lol,i like things that rhyme!!!:Dit takes more energy
to hate than to love...
love and relax!0 -
how about
Broken Record
Or Repair Shack
or fastfix"Lifes a climb - but the view up in fantastic"
Gina Shoe Challange - £150 14 days - day1 £3.010 -
Ely's Engines ... (I like alliteration!)Signature removed for peace of mind0

What is your surname?0 -
Where do you live? as that may feature into a name for the business... or rhyme with the business name etc0
-
All depends on your target market, if you are a specialist then could be worth focusing on this aspect otherwise like others have said you could use location. If you are well known in your area and have a good reputation then I would definately suggest using it as your trading name.
Few ideas not taking above into consideration:
-JK Autocare
-J Ely Carcare (presume surname is ELY)(or ECC)
-Vehicle Repair Services (or VRS)
-Autofix
or any variations.
Certain words can say certain things, a name is very important especially as a new business as this is a first impression.Hit the Gym HARD!!!0 -
Could use your name.
RELY AUTO SERVICES
RELY ON CARCARE
Etc
Sounds reliable to me!!!!Always get a Qualified opinion - My qualifications are that I am OLD and GRUMPY:p:p0 -
If the garage will be anything like the place I used to take my car, perhaps you could try 'Rip-off car repairs'.
Seriously, how about:
"J'll 'fix it' auto centre" (perhaps you could also give each of the first 100 customers a "J'll fix it" medal which gives them 20% off their next garage bill).
Edit: If you use any of the names in this thread - will the winner also get some money off their car repairs if they live near you?!?0 -
2 partners went into business called Mr.Norfolk and Mr.Good.
later on Mr.Still joined them.
Sorry, Ive nothing sensible to say.On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0
