Remember having a burst ear drum when I was younger because of messing around in there with a cotton bud - thought I was dying cause of the pain!
glad someone else uses that daft quote other than me! :rotfl: though isn't it smaller than an elbow?

Are the baby cottonwool buds for 55p the same size as the others as I use them for putting my eye make up on and usually pay £1.100

I buy cotton buds from Poundland or wherever is cheap.........but I don't use them for poking in ears.
I use them for tidying up mascara smudges or blobs. I dab the cotton bud in Nivea creme and gently wipe under my eye lashes.........and it removes any smudges.:cool2:
An added benefit of this clean up method is that it will leave a residue of Nivea creme on the delicate skin underneath my eyes.......and serve as a moisturiser too.
Now come on, you've got to admit I don't look my age do I?:D10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -
This is nothing to do with cotton buds, but I remember seeing the cotton wool balls in the baby section of Boots being cheaper than the balls in the cotton wool / tissue section. Same amount, same size etc.
Not that I buy them from boots anymore.0 -
just got 300 buds for 65p (in small pastic bag) from boot, much cheaper from the baby section, and yes they look the same with different packaging. they have 200 buds for 55p as well in rround box, but both almost cost double from the non-baby sections.0
