I've done DS1 room (with his assistance) so it is now ready for the new mattress which was due at 7:00pm. He has just phoned to say he'll be here in 20 minutes but at least hubbie is home to help now.

Also prunned the climbers around the front door and a large shrub. Dug all the leeks up so that bed is now ready to plant out the peas and corn.

Towels and 2 beds changed so just 2 more beds to do tomorrow. Cleaned upstairs windows.

Will do DS2 room tomorrow - he is tidying it now and then DS3 room and ours on Sunday.

Some of my ebay stuff has bids so I'm pleased about that; I've done well with paperwork this week but there is still loads to go.

    Hello all

I'm freeeeeeeee!!! for 9 days at least! I am all packed, only have a small rucksack, hand luggage only, checked in online for my flight so all is good! I've never done online check in before, it's handy as I just have to turn up at the airport which is only 15 mins on the train (plus a bus to the station)

Hope all are well, I won't catch up as spending the eve with DH and a film....will see you all on wed when I'm back!

Hope your last day was ok soappie....you're free too!

Yay Rach - enjoy your break - don't eat too much chocolate!

And my last day was ok - and you're right. I'm free. I feel free this evening. I feel a weight has been lifted off. I don't have to go there ever again if I don't want to. That's nice.

But a bit scarey at the same time. I have finance to tide me over for several months but I don't want to get to the end of those several months and start to panic. I really need to get Plan B off the ground.

But I'm waffling. Dinner's almost ready and I have S&S'd and decluttered the kitchen a bit....

    creeping back onto the thread

Sorry all - the drama that is my life got in the way again :) Although not actually a drama...just a baby combined with Italian GCSE revision. Whose stupid idea was it that I do that when my brain is made of mashed potato?!!

On the plus side we had a BBQ at home on Monday so I blitzed the house :) Although I had to time my vacuuming as I appear to have the only child who is scared by the vacuum! I thought it was meant to sooth them! I have never seen a child so scared in my life!

    Anyway....

well done Soappie. Dont you worry lovely, we will make sure you have plan B off the ground soon.....but for now, have a break!

I went to Bodypump tonight, put LO in the creche (supervised ball-pit, jungle-gym type play area) then after my class, I took him swimming. The pool was FREEZING!
