How do you put the bluetooth dongle inside?clueless_lad wrote: »I bought one of these when the offers were on at asda. it was for this model, stated 80gb hard drive but when arrived it was 120gb, loads and loads of people have also confirmed this. I have upgraded the RAM to 1.5gb and was fairly easy, with loads of tutorials online and youtube. I also have installed bluetooth dongle inside and use it in the car for satnav and also for mobile internet with my nokia phone as a modem. Great buy these.
Mine came with linux on it which is good for usual browsers etc, tried Mac OS on it, but i couldnt get it to run stable so i installed Windows XP on it. might even dabble with windows 7 next month when it comes out on trial.0 -
You can also buy refurbished netbooks from acer website http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/box_opened_laptops/prod.asp
That is not an ACER website. It's an independent company.0 -

XP runs fine with 512MB of RAM and has for the last 4 years on my Dell Desktop. If you don't expect it to do much more that word processing or browsing the net it is fine. Most netbooks will not be doing more than that.
XP was originally designed to run with a minimun of 128MB.0 -
are these a good buy or not?Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.
