Please help!! AOL/Talk Talk bill issues

Up until July last year I was with AOL for my broadband and had no problems.

I then received a call from Talk Talk (who I already used for my home phone) and agreed to sign up for their Broadband.

The woman on the phone told me she would cancel the AOL and I didn't need to do anything (even when I asked her if I needed to get the MAC code etc) except to cancel the direct debit.

Then about a month ago I received a final reminder bill (I hadn't had a first reminder!) from AOL and then letters from debt collectors for money I owed AOL. I had not missed a payment on my subscription with them, this is for money they say I owe from last July to now.

I have made numerous phone calls, emails and letters.....no response.

Talk Talk told me they would send me a copy of my welcome pack to send to AOL as proof....nothing.

What do I do now? I have just got my credit file perfect again and do not want a black mark against it when it is clearly not my fault.

Anyone??

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Talk Talk and AOL are both part of Carphone Warehouse, I'd write to Charles Dunstone about their interdepartmental screw up.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
