What is the best thing to clean brake dust off alloy wheels?

    I have tried various alloy wheel cleaners, I found the one that works best for me is Mer Alloy & Steel Wheel Cleaner.

    My OH has been using my car for the last 3 weeks as i've been using the MIL's car. Today I got in my car...

    Stereo on full, no fuel, no screen wash, front wheels were black, hand break was on very tight too! Grrr...

    things like that can end a very good relationship.im dreading the day i need to share my car with my OH.

    and always late for work and need to just abandon the car anywhere rather than be 5 minutes early and get an actual space.hence car with scratches,dents,etc.. dont know how that could have happened :confused:

    The best alloy wheel cleaner is Gazmit, an Albanian at my local hand wash.:D He knows I'm fussy about my alloys being clean so he does an extra special job on my wheelies.
