I got a reply to the email so brownie points to TL for answering it much quicker than they stated!
They said we can have three children in the room as long as one child is under two and is in a crib that is pre-booked with the individual lodge.
Think we'll do that. We're travelling 20 days after her second birthday, so she'll pass for under 2!Here I go again on my own....0 -

Make sure you do pre-book the cot, as apparently they have to have them brought in - they don't keep them on site at the individual lodges.0 -
Yes, we stayed 5 in a room regularly at Travel-inns, premier lodges all of those kind of places and always asked for a travel cot. If your child is 3 and they say under 2 can stay in a cot, well, you know your own child and whether they would comfortably sleep there - mine has done for this last year and she wil be 3 this month (dont tell anyone though!)Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0

We've slept 11 adults in a Travelodge room once! Just one of you check in with 2-3 kids and the others follow.0

When I booked a Manchester Airport Travel Lodge room I phoned because I also have 3 children. They said up to 4 children would be fine in a family room as long as I brought something to sleep on as the pull-out was only good for two. I asked if a ready-bed was acceptable and they were fine with that.
Difficult if you want to fly the next day, but if you are leaving the car parked somewhere close perhaps leave it in the boot?
I don't think it's wise to leave a child in the boot of a car overnight.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

Most Travelodges iv had experience with let me stay with my family/friends in one room without any problem.
often this was either four/five people, usually 2 adults and 3 children (ages 7, 9 , 14)
The hotel managers were most friendly and understood peoples needs and wants.
slightly off the topic, whenever i have gone to the USA/Dubai/Carribean etc the hotels charges are per ROOM. it so sad that only Travelodge (and a few selected others) offer a per room service.
Being Rip off Britain that we live in so many hotels are so bloody expensive especially those which charge per person!
taking my family on average to a per person hotel would cost me almost £200
taking my family on average to a per room hotel would cost me just £50*
*find a bargain deal/book early and it could be as low as £9!0 -
