5 in a Travel Lodge room?

Just wondering if anyone knows as I can't find the answer on the Travel Lodge site, and an automated response said it could take 5 working days to answer my question.
Can a family of two adults and three children share a Travel Lodge room?
The youngest is two, so we are either going to put her in the middle of the double bed with us, or "top and tail" her and the middle one on the sofa bed, with the eldest on the pull out bed. Would this be ok?

Here I go again on my own....

Can you not just phone and ask the question?
We stayed in a family room in London last August - but our little one was only 18 months then. The bed was massive so she just bunked in with us. Not sure the sofa bed would have fitted two without one falling out as it looked quite narrow ... but I guess it depends how much wriggling they do!
The rates appear to be per room per night, but the look up only allows you to input 2 adults, 2 kids, so a phone call to ask the question shouldn't put the price up!0 -
most places dont normally include a 2 yr old in any of the combinations.. what i would do is just turn up go if in doubt one adult book in whilst other adult getting everything and everyone out the car etc.. once booked in ive found the travelodge just leave you to it.. so they probably wouldnt even know if you had 5 kids in tow lol..
Ive always assumed these rooms when saying 2 kids mean really 2 teenagers as 3 teenagers would be a push . little ones can bunk together no problem. Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
travelodges don't normally notice how many are in a room, like some one said just go in seperatly (I remember sharing one of my rooms with 10 of my friends once)0

I have had 5 in an inn keepers lodge room without hassle. we normally have a double bed and 2 sofa beds and my youngest who is 2 sleeps in a travelcot provided by them.

Should be fine, their double beds are often king sized anyway, and there are 2 parts to the pull-out as you realise. If you need extra bedding, they never question, just give you it. Just to be on the safe side,, why not keep one kiddy with the adult in the car at check in?
Where are you off Beccles?0 -
It's just an airport stopover as we've got an early morning flight - check in opens at 5.30am!
I can see a £19 room, but that is the only cheap room and I'd have to pay full price for a second room, which is why I'm keen to make do with one room!
We'll not be eating there, so hopefully we can go in seperately and they'll not noticeHere I go again on my own....0 -
I work in a hotel and guests often "sneak" a child/dog/mistress in, but for safety's sake let them know there are 5 guests as they wouldnt be missed in a fire drill
probably wont add to the cost as no extra bedding and no brekkie0 -
When I booked a Manchester Airport Travel Lodge room I phoned because I also have 3 children. They said up to 4 children would be fine in a family room as long as I brought something to sleep on as the pull-out was only good for two. I asked if a ready-bed was acceptable and they were fine with that.
Difficult if you want to fly the next day, but if you are leaving the car parked somewhere close perhaps leave it in the boot?0 -

weve never had any problems, but again i think that may be due to the fact that our youngest is still a toddler, and we take a travelcot with us,maybe when shes older it could be harder to all sneak/fit in one room
We just risk it, and if they say its not allowed then we will either pay for an additional room or find somewhere else to stay that does accept 5. So far i only ever book sale rooms, so loosing out on £9 isnt that great a loss
