I'm sorry, I gave up on Linpus lite & installed UBUNTU instead.
Went OK for me, but then I've been using UBUNTU for 18 months.
This AAO - Forum might help.
A quick google throws up keepassx.
It might be worth registering on this forum and searching on there. I didn't get around to registering as I switched to UBUNTU fairly quickly.
OK - digging a little more install KeepassX

The last link suggests that it should be possible to use the add/remove service, which should automatically start the package manager for you.
If not you might have to enable the advanced desktop.
For Info :-
Ubuntu Netbook Remix

Notes on Unr running on AAO
I installed it because I was more familiar with Ubuntu in general, whether it is EASIER or not may well depend on your expertise with Ubuntu.
IF you DO decide to go down this route, BACKUP EVERYTHING first, and make sure you can put Linpus back on your machine if you decide you don't like Ubuntu.
Ubuntu isn't the only option either, you may want to explore other alternatives.
However, the nice thing about linux distros in general is that they often have a LIVE-CD /LIVE-USB facility.
This means that you can load up an image of Ubuntu-nr on a 1Gig usb stick, boot up from the USB-stick and run you netbook from the USB-stick without affecting your setup AT ALL.
This provides an opportunity to test-drive the operating syatem, see if you get on with it & then install if you want to or simply shut-down, remove the USB-stck, and then boot up as normal, nothing lost.0 -

Took too long to post. Linpus is a Fedora distro, so I imagine you'll want the Fedora 10 - version.
EDIT - Oops, I see you've highlighted Fedora 9 & 10. I don't know the command to determine which version of Fedora you are running. Maybe google could help you out?

I would swap to Ubuntu. It has a been list of programs on add/remove you just click on them to install them its much easier. I have never used linpus maybe there is a add/remove on there aswell?0

I checked my daughter's Acer and Keepassx is in the repositories, it is simply a matter of ticking it and it will download and install itself. You must have the advanced desktop installed first though. To do this press Alt-F2 and type xterm in the panel and hit run. Another line will appear (a command line) type xfce-setting-show and hit enter. A box will appear (settings manager), click on 'desktop' tab and and tick 'show desktop on right click.'
All you need to do in the future is right click on the desktop and click 'system' on the menu and you will see 'add remove ' near the top. Choose that and it will enable you to install programmes. It will do this automatically, just click on the 'search button and type 'keepassx' or whatever programme you want and it will find it. Tick the box and it will install it (or go to 'file' at the top and choose 'apply).0 -
