We are now the proud owners of Ruby May (Ruby for short). She is a Basset x Shar Pei, 13 weeks old and joins Pudge our beautiful cat, Ollie male dwarf lop and Oscar, mixed breed rabbit.
I am very pleased with the way toilet training is going and she was very good during her first night. Of course, she needed an early start 'cos she wanted a wee. Must be love for me to get up at 6am on a Sunday morning without complaint!
Took some time to persuade her to sleep, but she did eventually. She is sitting on my feet as I write this!

She is very cute - what an interesting cross - Sharpei's aren't known for being very sociable with dogs or humans, and bassets ofcourse, being hounds can be very independant too, so training could be a challenge (to say the least) do let us know how you get on.Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

My partners uncle has a Sharpei (approx 3years) & he is amazing with people, both adults & children. He is a soppy little dog.0 -

So far, she is thankfully proving to be a quick learner. Toilet training is going really well and she is learning 'no' fast! She is also extremely affectionate to animals and humans alike.Ah bless!! She's a bassett in Sharpei's clothes!!!
