Chappie do dry food too and very reasonable priced (about £15 for 15kg). You can get it from Pets at Home.

A vote here for james wellbeloved. Not particularly cheap, but currently keeping mutts colitis at bay. Have a search for previous threads - there's been lots of discussions on food, additives and sensitive pooches if you hunt around on here a bit.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • I would try Chappie dry food - some people swear by CSJ for sensitive tums - if you email the they will send you a free sample to see if it suits...

My boy has a sensitive stomach, he does very well on burns. he has chicken and rice complete in a white bag. on this he has small firm stools, on anything else it comes out like cow pats!

Burns has no additives, or cereal fillers like cheaper brands. Worth a go.

Another vote for Arden Grange! netpetshop.co.uk are often the cheapest for them I find.

They do an ocean white fish and potato one which is specially for sensitive digestion - but it is the most expensive (circa £45 for 15kg)

viking - the £37 from vetuk was for the sensitive 15kg bag :) I think that's the white fish one :)

  • Thanks for everyones help. I went to see a good independant pet shop yesterday and after going through all the brands and options, I have put my lad on Supadog Sensitive and a homeopathic Tree Bark Supplement. He already seems brighter and not to much of a mess at the rear end!!!

I have used www.netpetshop.co.uk for Arden Grange food for my 18 mth old staffie. We bought two 15kg bags of Arden Grange which cost £51.04 with free next day delivery (they give free delivery for any 15kg bag of arden grange).

When we ran out of arden grange and used that well known brand of dog food that implies a pedigree - our dog lost the shine on his coat within days! You can also get sample packs for a mere penny to try out on your pet to ensure that they like them. I would highly recommend this online shop.
