Reinstalled XP, now speakers aren't working!

I just wiped everything and reinstalled windows as it was all going to pot. Now the comp can't find my speakers. I've tried going to the sound and audio devices properties screen, and it just says "no audio device" and everything is greyed out. I have creative inspire speakers, and afaik there was no disc with the…

I recommend you download run Unknown Devices (link) and see what that tells you.

The sole reason I've linked you to the file on my webspace, is because it contains the most up-to-date device information I can get hold of.
