Thanks for that, I think I'll give it a wide berth then unless I actually know where the code came room. Seems like they need to sort there order process out - they should check the code prior to dispatch.

i wouldnt recommend using these codes as i placed a few orders with a couple of catalouges a while ago..codes worked fine etc .. items came ,,then statments and i paid the remaining balance
But today all the codes have been cancelled which were previously used and ive been charged about £100 on all the orders ,,stuff which i wouldnt normally buy.
very unfair they did this after nearly a month .
i thought once you get order confirmation thats it . but they decided now that they would cancell the codes :mad:

Were they codes they sent to you though?

I've kept all the emails for the codes they sent me as back up.

no they wernt sent to me as i stopped shopping with catalouges ages ago.
although one empire code i queried about through email and they said it was fine to use over the phone
after i used it 3 weeks ago , they cancelled that one too few days ago .
just seems too much of a stress especially littlewoods.

I used a code posted on here a few weeks back to get £25 off my order of some Sketchers so I ended up paying just £2.40 for them. Unfortunately when they arrived, they were too small and I couldn't just get an exchange but had to send them back. I was told that when they recevied them, they'd re-issue me with the code so I could re-order in the next size up. That hasn't happened as the code is now showing as invalid. However, I've just got my credit card statement and found that they've refunded me £27.40 (the full amount) not the £2.40 I paid

I think I'm just going to leave the credit there and wait for them to ask me for it back - which I'm sure they will - eventually! It's all been a heap of trouble and I've not even ended up with the shoes - I'm going off Littlewoods in a big way!
