Isa......?

Hiya

This may sound a daft question but.....Have 23k in a savings account at the moment and 3k in an ISA (From 3 years ago). I am moving house in 2 weeks and using around 10 for fees, improvements etc.

The remaining 13k I am planning on keeping and to continue saving (adding 5k per year).

Am I best putting 3k into an ISA now and 3k after the ISA deadline and doing the same each year? And can anybody recommend an account to keep my non-isa savings in?

Yes, if you are a taxpayer or will become a taxpayer in the future.
