Hi,

We are looking to buy a 3-in-1 pram/puschair for our first child (she is 11 days old)

Any suggestions please.

Many thanks in advance,

Mutsy, I have one of these and love it. https://www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk do a good deal. It is funky looking and you can get the carrycot and car seat to fit on the chasis, you can even get a duo seat for the same chasis for when baby 2 comes along (lol)

It looks funky, pushes like a dream and as a pramaholic I would have another of these.

I have also had several mamas and papas which were okay I also liked my 3 wheel mothercare urban detour

i loved my mamas and papas 4 in 1 (had carseat too which fits on the chassis)

i was mad enough to pay almost £700 !!" for it back in 2002

you can get them on ebay though for half that or less! they are fab, really well made and have good selling on value ; )

i guess it all depends on what car you have / or if you need to rely on public transport
if you have stairs to get to your house / flat,if you do a lot of walking etc etc

I think the graco`s are great, especially if you are on a tighter budget. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

Can highly reccomend the Chicco trio 3 in 1 is perfect for us and goes through till age 3+
have you tried kiddicare.com they are great for all baby gear. Trio has car seat and carrycot and buggy all in one with fab suspension too and raincovers and and free standing. I have 2 kids and have had 12 prams until I found this perfect solution. Congratulations and hope this helps.
  • Thanks Plasticman - I checked out Chicco from Kiddiecare. I can see it is an excellent quality but the price is way beyond our budget (£469.99)

We made the mistake of booking our holiday in July for which we had to pay and this reduced our budget to £300-350 tops

Bobsa1 - pardon my ignorance but I did a search for Mutsy from Glasgow Pram and I got this -
    http://www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk/shop/search.php?manufacturer_id=289&area_id=clear&s=&page=1&rpp=12

But I could not find 3-in-1 there
  • BTW, I found some sale of Mamas and Papas (Pliko Pramette) at Glasgow Pram -

    http://www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk/shop/discount.php?id=117

Though it is not 3-in-1, the prices are quite affordable. Any experience with these products please.

i havent tried the pliko pramette but ive had 3 plikos in the past and they are fab IMO : )

best thing is to try some different prams out in a shop (even if you dont end up buying from there!) and see what you think ?

Hi, if you look on the second page of the glasgowpramcentre link you posted there is the urban rider, you then buy a carrycot and a car seat, in effect you design your own system. You actually don't need the carrycot as the car seat allows baby to lie flat, so you buy as much or as little as you need
