There may not be any in some areas but I would hope that any GP or Practise Nurse would be able to help with testing if anyone is concerned about symptoms. It would then always be free.

    I attended my apt. yesterday.
Bad Points : It was in a mobile unit and it was packed. I was there for 1 hr 45 mins.
    Good points: Very nice staff.
They done ECG and heart scan when the ECG was slightly abnormal.
    it is free !!!

You have to take the whole top half of your clothes off so wear something easy to do this in
the tabs will not stick even if you have a llittle body lotion on

If you can get an apt. then id recommend going :0)

Had mine done last Saturday in Manchester. Was also a mobile unit so was full and involved a bit of a wait to speak to a DR after (for a very quick 20sec chat lol). Very friendly lady did mine for me, had to take shirt off and unhook bra but could keep it on.

My ecg was fine thank god but DR advised me to intake more salt due to low blood pressure (which seemed to be the cause of the dizzy spells etc).

Very thankful I went as my mind feels at rest now after thinking there was something wrong with me for ages, but there isn't phew :D

That's very interesting. I have low blood pressure too but I've never heard anyone recommending more salt in the diet. Salt is not really good for you in any circumstances, especially not too much salt. News out just recently recommended everyone take a pill to lower blood pressure after a certain age. The reason? Because, they said, those with 'normal' blood pressure actually have high blood pressure, and those with 'high' blood pressure in reality have very high blood pressure. It goes without saying then that those like us, with low blood pressure, actually have nothing to worry about! I personally wouldn't agree that increasing salt intake is a good idea, but then again, I'm not a doctor.
