I do hope people take advantage of this. A work colleague of mine aged only 43 collapsed and died while playing football with his mates the night before he was due to go on holiday with his family. A total tragedy.
Shame that he wouldn't have been able to take advantage of this due to their (somewhat ageist) criteria.0 -
All the times for my local ones are during office hours

Does anyone know if this test is targeted at people who play sports?
I've booked an appointment for Saturday. I've printed out the questionnaire & loads of the questions seem to be related to playing sports.
I don't really want to go if it is for sporty people as I am quite the opposite!0 -

You don't have to be sporty to get tested. It says that here on the question/answers page:

Also, about my earlier question of what to wear, i emailed the cry people yesterday before i saw a reply on here and they emailed back today saying females have to remove all upper clothing including bras
It has put me off going if i'm honest, that and the long trip i'd have to make to get there.
edit: i checked with another mser who has gone and they said they just had to unhook their bra at the back but got to keep it on the front. So that's made me feel better now so i shall book myself in. Thanks DG! xx0 -
Thanks KittyPryde.
I'm not too keen on taking my bra off either, but I've been having some chest pains/dizzy spells lately & would really like my mind put at rest.
Lets hope it's a female doing the test!0 -
KittyPryde I've just replied to your PM

I didn't have to remove my bra, it was undone at the back so the technician could get easier access, but the front part stayed firmly in place!
It really was simple, painless and well worth it.:j30/7/10:j
