A little annoyed about feedback left

Hi all
Just a little situation.
I sold an item on ebay the other week. It took me a while to post it. Admittedly it was a fair few days but was within the dispatch date I stated on the listing page.
The buyer left a neutral feedback, commenting I hadn't responded to emails sent asking when said item would be delivered, and took x days to deliver.
The buyer sent me one message the day before I posted the item, which I didn't notice *holds hands up* Not multiple emails, as it reads, but the one. Fair play, I didn't answer because I didn't see it.
However the comment about it taking so many days has annoyed me... I stated how many days it could take as got my hands full at the mo and I didn't go over that, so to broadcast that as a negative comment has riled me a little.
I'm not too bothered except for the fact I have some other stuff I want to list to get funds to throw at my debts, and that comment's sitting right at the top of my page... I don't know how much it would put someone off if I appear to be completely ignorant and really slack - which I'm not, honest!

Could you leave a follow up to their feedback saying something like.....'Item was posted as per timescale mentioned in listing' Then buyers can see the listing and make their own minds up.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I've had a couple complain about how long it took me to post: true, it was a long while from when they bought it, but very little time from when they actually paid for it, in both cases... However they both quoted the date of purchase, not of payment...
Now those were a couple for the blocked bidder list.0 -
I had someone leave a positive but stated how item took a while to arive, she won the item on a friday and the following monday was bank holiday so i didn't post until tuesday, you can't please some people. I would just reply as someone else has sugedted.0

People get too hung up on feedback. It was only neutral and seems fair if it took longer than the buyer thought it should (regardless of how long you said you would take) and communications weren't good.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
no offence, but sounds like they are pretty justified in what they've put
maybe you should leave selling the other bits until you have the time to send stuff a bit quicker:grouphug:

Hardly anyone takes notice of the dispatch time, so that is probably why.
I agree with Shelly- leave a follow up.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I think thats a little nieve as feedback and DSRs can effect your selling. Either ebay can possibly suspend you or you loose customers. I find it quite bizzare when people say its not important. As with any service it shows how good a job you are doing
Your response to a neut/or neg is important. If your going to rant and call them wasters etc. That causes more damage than the original feedback
If though you put a measured response stating what was in the listing that can do you huge favours.0 -

One little neutral will have no impact whatsoever and to think otherwise is a little naive.Terms & Conditions Apply0
