And no i am not claiming bank charges because i am lucky in that i have never been charged for anything from a bank ever. And no i'm not being a clever cow, just stating a fact because of your presumptions about me.
Sorry it want aimed entirely at you, the second poster was the one claiming he was scamming them.0 -
Has the OP actually seen this same mattress in the massive 50% sale???
Can you actually see the SAME mattress for half the price you paid for it???
Most of these sales are a load of old garbage anyway.0 -
Well that's how shops work. They buy in goods, they offer them at a certain price...some will be sold then they decide to 'generate' more income by reducing prices. So they have a SALE.
Remember in order to HAVE a SALE a shop MUST have offered the item at a higher price (or in the case of a chain, at one site in the chain) for a period of time before the sale so that when prices are reduced it is a genuine sale.
(Some stores may post a disclaimer if they haven't done this).
So some shoppers will pay the higher price.
Hi Annie! (I had a phone call last week from someone asking me about bank charges I have paid - I presume they were going to offer to help me reclaim for a 'small fee' - the bloke was staggered when I told him I hadn't paid charges! :rotfl:)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
