extra phone

just got a nokia e71 from 3 network which i got a contract.
lovely as it is and easy to email-the reason i bought it in first place
THing is i m a builder and knowing myself i dont think it ll last in building site so what i thought was keeping this one and the simcard which it came with just for emails and the old phone for calls.

question is, can i just buy internet add on for this new phone?
on my contract phone i can se i can get for 5 quid a month, unlimited acces thanks

Firstly not sure what deal you got but I have seen e71 for £20 a month with 3 for 18 months including unlimited internet. Same deal with e63 for £15.

If I understand it correctly you want the e71 for internet and old phone for calls - problem is you only have one simcard so you cant use both phones at the same time.

I would probably recommend a different phone with a bit more robust body which can whether the odd drop (the nokia 6300 springs to mind and usually I have found sony phones to be more robust). So you could send the e71 back and get something with a stronger body shell.

i ve got nokia 6120 for calls... this new e71 was bought to check and send emails.. got the contract sim card which is with nokia 6120 and got another sim which came with e71.
i dont want to use the contract sim with the e71 as i know i ll ruin it at no time- im a plasterer-bricklayer by trade .

so i was asking, is there a way to buy a cheap add on for this pay as you go e71?

on my 6120 i can buy a ad on for 5 quid use of all the month

Yes, you can do exactly what you want. When you've topped up you need to go the 'My3' web page on your phone, then 'My Account' and then click 'Add-ons'. Under internet you can either buy 1 day for 50p, 1 week for £2.50, or 1 month for £5.

I'm pretty sure you can do if you call 444 as well... I think it's option 4 after that, then whatever it says.
