I grew tomatoes last year totally indoors, never heard about fertilizing them. I got loads of gorgeous tomatoes. How is this, does anybody know ?

Tomatoes are now bred to be self polinating. No need to play the matrimonial agency by intoducing one flower to another...:rotfl:

You will get a number of fruit if you don't feed but to get a lot fruit you should feed them.

BTW I noticed people are in different areas of the country so those further down south would have passed or will very soon pass their last frost dates. Plus your own garden may have it's own micro climate.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

My tumbling tom has lots of flowers on it but none are opening.
Its indoors because being in a flat I can't put it out anywhere. Should i be worried about the flowers not opening.
My tumbler sitting next to it hads been flowering for ages and there are a good number of green toms formed :D
