You are clearly a complete !!!!ing tard and no doubt one of those who live outwith their means and try every scam going and expect the banks etc to act like a charity and facilitate their living outwith their means free of charge or at their cost.
You've got him there! :T0 -
pedro123456 wrote: »You are entitled to a opinion OshayAway, but only just…….ang on…….I’m having trouble writing this for laughing at you. Eloquently what?, sentiment echoed? Perceived value?..............lol
And you provide helpful information………..where?
Let me make this quite clear,……………….there are ppl on this site that are helpful and supportive and from what I have seen (although I have only just found this site) you don’t appear to be one of them, so your opinions of me count for nothing.
And as I see ppl helping others it makes me happy……………it’s good.
IF you have some help to offer others please help them and leave me to do what I want to do, what I can assure you of however I have and will continue to help and support others in “real life” and on this site too, lets hope you and your “no doubt others” can say the same. Until then go away and stop irritating.
Oh and my help is free…………….
As for ‘put downs’ who have I put down?.............I don’t put ppl down life is hard enough my friend…well you know what I mean…..you are not actually a friend sort of thing……you know what I mean………..dont you?
Pete
ps..........sorry for jumping all over you thread pizzaman.........however you have actually got your answer, Insurance companies can and do please themselves what they do, and I'm sure their are 'many other who would echo my eloquent, sentimental observations'............ay Osh?............lol
Maybe they'll teach you words or more than one syllable when you go to big boy school.
As for anyone agreeing with your pov, has even one person done that in any of you posts? No, and with good reason.
I am tempted to engage in a battle of wits with you pedro but it goes against my principles to duel with someone so blatantly unarmed.0 -
Pedro, my favourite part is where you state your help is free!... lol, good to know you've got a sense of humour. Free... true. Help... well, about as much help as a chocolate fire-guard. That is if the fire-guard kept banging on relentlessly about how stupid fires are and it's not your fault you melted. Then start a campaign about not having fires and everyone's better off freezing to death.0

Just getting back to the point and confirming what dunstonh said MPPI policies are typically reviewable. Almost all companies have put their rates up since Christmas and a number have actually pulled out of the unemployment market altogether.
If the review doesn’t fit your budget or simply makes you want to move the cover away from the Abbey then speak to an IFA.
To give you a bit of help - it is possible to split the cover into separate insurances, such as a Budget Income Protection policy (in the event of not being to work due to illness, 2 years per claim, multiple claims allowed) with guaranteed rates and a separate Unemployment policy (if possible find cover that can review only annually).
I must point out the danger of changing your cover though as if you were to cancel your existing unemployment policy and take a new one, you won't normally then be able to claim for the next 3 months (depending on the contract)... is that a risk you would be willing to take given the current economic climate?

And for everyone else this board is supposed to be helpful and insightful for people that aren't always in the know about insurance products. If you haven't got anything useful to say, probably best not to say anything

Yes. Virtually all the plans that have unemployment cover built into them (or the option to have it) are on reviewable premiums and not guaranteed. As the risks go up, the price will go up. Just as the price went down when the risks went down.
Thanks for that, but was I the only one to miss that ??? The price of insurance going down??? When was that??? Surely the price of any insurance never goes down, because the risks never go down, as people always have accidents/unemployment/sickness etc so this doesn't really apply.
Which company is it that reduces the cost of it's insurance, could you tell me the name of it and I will switch all my policies to them.............That one should be on the price comparison sites, they would make a bloomin packet....0 -
The price of insurance going down??? When was that???
In the last recession prices were around £6.50 per £100pm of cover. You could get as low as £1.50 per hundred in the good years.Surely the price of any insurance never goes down, because the risks never go down as people always have accidents/unemployment/sickness etc so this doesn't really apply.
The risks change with the economy and unemployment is the key risk on these plans. Accident and sickness cover is actually a smaller part of the risk (which is why I prefer PHI and standalone unemployment cover).Which company is it that reduces the cost of it's insurance, could you tell me the name of it and I will switch all my policies to them
Most of them did. Some went cheaper than others but then were quicker to increase and by a larger margin. Many of the expensive distribution channels didnt lower their prices (banks mainly).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). S4B-OshayAway, stop it now. You have had your say just accept you haven’t a clue and be done with it.
Every time I laugh at you the cat cowers away now, my dentures fall out, not to mention my dodgy ticker.
Anyway I think you have got a problem….take a seat………….and listen for a mo I’ll tell you what I think it is, of course this is my opinion, I will deny ever having wrote it in this forum, as long os course THE GRASSING ,BACK STABBING, STUCKTOMESHOE, PIECE OF VOMIT who bubbled me should snitch on me and tell you to print it off.
So…..anyway…..rant over………you go back to your seat and I’ll fill you in.
Hormones……………..that’s what (IMHO) it is……….. Hormones, questions you got to ask yourself.
Does it happen every month?
Do you have hairs on the soles of your feet?
Are you a man that has secret thoughts of impersonating Joe Brand.
Are you a woman that’s has to shave regular?
These are all signs of a hormone imbalance, now treatment………..good news it’s painless.
Unless of course the prescribed medicines are inserted rectally as opposed to orally, some would have you believe that rectal medication acts quicker because of the major blood vessels around the rectal area…………but I don’t have a grown up opinion of it, whatever floats ya boat I say……………….
So….how about we leave these nice ppl alone to talk about how IC’s make up their own rules and T&C, and how we, as the paying policy holders enable them to employ the highest wigs in the country etc etc to scank the judicial system for their own ends………………..and you just sit and be quiet, watch and learn……………Deal?
oh and will you stop pasting everything I write, I ought to know what it sez……..I said it in the first place, and anyway it fills your page up and makes you luck big and clever………and I’ll bet you aint either big or clever…….true be know you will be a 8 st, vertically challenge, incompetent Jester, sat at your computer wearing a snorkel and flippers ready for your mum to take you for a bath.
