I would let her return them if she's not happy, i have had this problem with a bundle of childrens clothes, if she trys to get her money back through pay-pal they are likely to side with her (thats how pay-pal work). I would'nt want to risk the bad feedback, i often have to take items back and refund when i know there was nothing wrong with the items after all 'the customer is always rite'. It depends if can aford to have a neg feedback, i try my best to keep 100% but its tricky when there are so many fussy people out there.

I think that if you are happy that your listing was fair and accurate with good clear pics then you should refund the purchase price and none of the postage.

The chances are that you'll get a neg no matter what you do.

I also think you should forward her message onto eBay. What she said to you is feedback extortion, and I'm pretty sure there's rules against it.

This may be a bit controversial but how do we know the buyer is not the one who is right here. Having sold plenty of clothes on ebay I would never list anything which was less than perfect and as such have never had any complaint or problem. Having also bought a couple of items there was one which was described as excellent/like new and it really wasn't - a stain on the sleeve and generally grubby around the cuffs and collar. (Luckily it was fine after a good wash!!).

I will add my twopennorth here.

You all seem to be on the side of the seller but the seller is not always in the right. For instance I have just bought a handbag described as Russell and Bromley and in excellent condition. It turns out to be neither. I certainly wouldn't use such a shabby item. Now I have emailed the seller, she wants me to return it, fair enough but this is going to cost about £3.50.I want to come to an amicable conclusion rather than spoil her 100% feedback. However if she is only going to refund the purchase price I end up £7.00 out of pocket on the total postage, plus the annoyance of having to return the bag.

Thing is when the buyer hints about feedback in my eyes there are using that to try and put pressure on the seller and getting them to back down to there demands as they now cant reply with a neg.

In this case you are right to expect the seller to bear all postage costs if they don't want a dispute and a neg, as your item is SNAD. If I was mis-sold an item then I would expect the same, and in the unlikely even I mis-sold something myself I would cover return postage.

None of the items that i sold were missed sold all the items were stated if there was any thing wrong with them., all items that i sell are in good or excellent even immaculate condition, if i sell something with a mark on it a button missing then i say so, in which i did, the woman who bought the items does leave neg FB to people so either way what i do shes going to leave it,
Maybe the buyer is here has read this then she will know shes a problem ebayer. how do i know any one of you after seeing my ebay user name isn't going to cheat me out of anything.
If im not happy to of got the item my self i don't sell it.

You don't know. That's why its said now and then on this site not to give details of your ebay user name.
