When do you think things will turn around StevieJ? Or do you think they have already?

You seem quite dismissive of other peoples' predictions but unwilling to make any of your own. Perhaps I miss you predictive posts as I don't read everything on here.

PS I hope that doesn't sound aggressive - it's not meant to be. I'm interested as you seem to think it's going to be business as usual soon.

no matter what the bulls post ..the crash has been going for 18 months now and probably has another five years to go before we get any gains worth mentioning.....it must be so frustrating being a bull and sitting round being wrong and watching your assets reducing by 20% a year....i pity them...

:rotfl:It must be so frustrating to only earn the minimum wage, knowing that the joys of home ownership will always be out of reach.

    an unfortunate comment.

Insensitive, abusive, sarcastic and unhelpful towards your argument.

Another case of personal attacks masquerdaing as debate. :(

at least he won't run away or throw his toys out of his pram because he can't prove his point ;)

Dan is just quoting facts from April's numbers quoted in the national press.
if it suits your argument to accept the adjusted seasonal numbers or not.
it's up to you - it's only mortgage approvals.

it's actually a fact that someone of minimum wage cannot and will not afford to own a home, fair and accurate point by Dan - so what your point Dervish?

    Mortgage-free Glee!
All this points to is that we're seeing a slowdown in the percentage falls in the property market. We're not going to see a sudden boom, but a continued slow erosion of house price values.

FTBers with deposits ready should look seriously at buying their house within the next 9 months, not because houses are going to go shooting up in value but because you'll will gain more from cheap mortgages than from the gradual decline of house prices.

    IMHO.

Dan is stating SOME of the facts, while ignoring the others.

As for throwing toys out of the pram, where? Because I believe I simply said look at ALL of us, this is pathetic....as we were all arguing over this same thing.

I am included in those people I was laughing at, so can hardly call it throwing toys out of the pram, though I can see why you might....sounds better.
