Glad to see I am not the only one disappointed with the new formulation of the Cauldron sausages. I too have emailed them - hopefully if enough complain they will bring back the old ones. Definitely the best you could get - have to find a replacement until they see sense - or come up with my own recipe.0

I am going to email them too, why the change from tofu to tvp? Tofu is less processed and a lot better for you. Before they had a nice texture and you could slice them up easily. Now they are chewier and just not very nice.0

Textured Vegetable Protein - it goes into a lot of 'fake meat' products (that aren't made from quorn or tofu). You can also buy it as plain mince + chunks from healthfood shops, if you fancy experimenting - I find it a bit tasteless though.0
