  • Thanks for posting :)
Has anyone had a bad reaction to touche eclat ?

But the last twice I used it, next morning I ended up looking like I had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

Am I the only one with a problem ?

My colleague got this reaction too - it was fine for her when she first started using it but... she got it out again the following summer and her eyes puffed up.

All make up has a shelf life unfortunately, though, it never lasts long enough to go off in my make up bag by the time I've caked up all my lines!
  • Do you have to put it on under foundation or can you use it on it's own? I've always had terrible dark rings under my eyes, always look ill, though I'm not, would like to try it or the Boots one but don't like wearing foundation.
  • Shade 1 is for most skins, the other numbers are usually only available overseas/airports and are for darker/asian skins and CAN be used to cover spots if you are a dab hand at using it!
It was probably the original light reflecting technology highlighter for under eye bags etc, and has 'cult' status along with Elizabeth Arden Eight hour cream. I love both these products but to be honest there is probably a very good copy out there by now, its just that these products have achieved such 'cult' status that no one dares use anything else... ;)

Daniele Ryman rescue balm, only from Boots, is a good alternative to EA 8 hour cream and reduced to only £2-if you can find it!

I've read on another thread that the Barbara Daly range in Tesco does a product similar to Touche Eclat for £6.50.

Has anyone tried either of these? I love Touche Eclat but I'd rather spend less :)

hi ive tried the barbara daly tesco stuff and for the money its quite good, i think i got it for a fiver tho.

No, you don't have to wear foundation to wear it.
  • i tried this product yesterday under my eyes, and thought it was ok...when i got home i thought i was seeing things...i saw the skin under my eyes looked weird and i dont know how to describe it, but the circles under my eyes look urm very noticable
  • avon have their own version. i got it for a few quid of ebay and it works just as well...
  • island cosmetics claimed to have posted the YSL touche eclat twice and every time i emailed them saying it has not arrived they made up excuses.

both times it's been supposedly posted i've received nothing and customer services said that "it must be lost in the post".

had my money refunded. not impressed.
