From a H&S point it will be fine as long as it's reheated well. However, i'm never very happy with the texture of reheated heated pork, so i'd do a trial run first personally.

I always cook more pulled pork than needed and freeze in individual portions. I microwave until piping hot - it can go a teeny bit more watery but I drain that off. I don't know if it helps that I freeze and then microwave in plastic takeaway style tubs - suppose it keeps the moisture in when heating.

However, I managed to get my slow cooker for free from Freecycle. Could be worth looking out for one (or checking eBay if you have a few quid to spare) as another option, I find mine invaluable!

Well it certainly sounds as though it is worth a go so I think I'll try it later this month. Thanks all :)

Is it better done in a slow cooker than the oven then?

Do any celebrity chefs recipes use a slow cooker?

I've only made it once and that was in the oven so I don't know, sorry.

whenever I make pulled pork I do it in the slow cooker and keep some of the juice / bbq sauce mix. when I need to reheat it i whack it in a pan / wok with a bit of the sauce, then when it's hot I throw more BBQ sauce on it to finish off.

Well.. that's if there's ever any left to reheat!

or get rid of the microwave and replace it with a slow cooker... :)

its fine to post a recipe if you also give the 'credit'! which you have done!
if its your own recipe you can say so - lol - this will actually give you copyright to it! so if say, a celeb chef nicks it, and puts it in HIS/HER cookbook - you have proof in court that is your recipe!

Legally speaking the recipe should be mentioned/maybe outlined, but the full recipe should be linked to.

e.g. just list the ingredients and say the method is on the link.

I wrote more, but the site gobbled it up when it went into maintenance mode :(

yes you are right - but on the forum I think that giving the chef credit is enough - if you also mention which book/website you got the recipe for is sufficient without you having to reproduce the recipe in full?

I have given recipes which were 'half remembered' by chefs and the forum team haven't objected.
