    Night folks.
Gosh, what a good-looking bunch we are!

    xx

    Erm, best I don't post a pic then :D

Missed all the excitement last night (agree with you Jo - Corrie was very powerful I was so relieved when he threw that bottle at the wall!) - very well done Fay, well deserved & ta for the pics & love the DMs!!

    Jo missed your pic

GG it sounds like you are where I have been for much of this year. Sometimes it can actually help to have a few drinks & wallow in your sorrow - it can give you a release that you can't achieve otherwise - but I allowed it to become a ritual. I hope I can think about Dad now without having to turn to the bottle. And also that I can have a few drinks without automatically getting sad. You may do this again & don't beat yourself up if you do, but try not to hide from your feelings through wine long term.

On a more flippant note (this is me, remember) I would like to thank everyone who had a drink yesterday as it's the first time ever I've been in the af lead even though it's tied with quite a few others at the mo ;)

I had the worst night's sleep ever last night & weirdo dreams when I dozed or WHAT! Seriously concerned about my deranged subconscious now.

Woke up feeling much better today, have been taking berocca as well so don't know if that is helping and also st johns wort, but I do feel great when I wake up and realise in those first few moments that I didn't drink last night...

Sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday GG, but like others have said we have all been there and got the t-shirt, you can turn it around though and like winebox said try not to make it a ritual...

40sm Sorry to hear you had such a bad night with your littlun, I am exactly the same if any of mine are ill...they come straight into bed with me and dh is turfed out and then I am on tenterhooks all night (often with mine I am sort of ready to jump up and head for the bathroom to avoid sick bleurghhhh all over the bed yuk!) hope he is better today xx

Love the arthritis joke Jo :T hope you have an easy day ahead after that bad night....and can I see the pic too...pretty please xx

    Beat this......

I dreamt that I got into a conversation with a woman that looked very similar to that one that Norris was meant to be going away with in Corrie, but a larger version (to put it nicely :)). Somehow we were then in my house and she kept trying to bite me  she kept biting my fingers!

I managed to get away from her and locked myself in the bathroom but then realised that I'd left my kids in the other room and was scared she would abduct them....I tried to ring the police on my mobile but couldn't get a signal and was scared she'd hear me and try and break the door down??

    :confused::confused::confused:

I'm almost frightened to go to sleep tonight now!!

Morning All ..... Damn, missed some photos

Can we have a little less limited edition please :D

Came home from work this morning and went back to bed .

Didn't really sleep last night with cockerals crowing, dogs and cats chasing each other round the house, a cat laying on top of me in bed purring, budgies joining in with the dawn chorus at 3.30 ....

Now why didn't he cat eat the budgie (It ate its partner :rotfl:), the dog eat the cats and the cockeral ..... Simples!

    Have a great day

    Morning all

No sleep for the wicked here :)

MP your card is up in my new office :)

BHB hope you get some sleep soon

WB - um worried about being deranged - knee deep in hedgehogs etc - um - sorry love think you are already with the rest of us in deranged land.

Morning Jo - waves - day one under belt for this month hurrah.

OMG - my other brother (No 2) is turning up this week - move hundreds of miles away and figure you are safe - out of the blue as if my magic he's never been near me for millions of years and now suddenly two days away he will be here for a week at least.

Last year one turns up (no 1 brother) - stays for a year - or so - then found his own house - hurray :)

Other one (No 2) turns up thursday night off boat - be great to see him - but have carefully asked how long he is thinking of coming for :)

My No 1 brother is going to make him sleep on the floor - aren't siblings great ?!?!?!?

Seemingly I am too busy (very true) and my spare room is full (um not sure that bits true or not ?? its full in July........)

No 1 bruvver looking out for me :)

Bit scared of the alcohol implications - somehow or other need to make sure there's none here, none brought and none consumed.

How woosy do I sound?? Great to see him, worried about the alcohol - my priorities are a bit um sqwiffy??
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
