Morning all
Absolutely exhausted today, couldn't sleep, nearly came on here at 2am after tossing and turning for 2 hours  and today feel like I've been hit by a bus, but....not hung-over
Better get a wriggle on, didn't get any of the kids uniforms ready last night as I was on here  so got an extra job to do before I leave this morning!
I better not see that parent that thought I looked tired this morning cos I'll be in complete agreement with her :rotfl:
Have a lovely AF 2nd day of the month all

Congrats Fay - and well deserved too.
To all those missing a loved one, my thoughts are with you. Sometimes I feel my dear departed sitting on my shoulder and guiding me through the day.
Jo, sleep when it doesn't come easy is a much treasured thing isn't it. Hope you have an easy day.
Day One a success for me and feeling very good about it too. Woke at 5am this morning, mega yomp with the dog in the early morning sunshine always makes me feel good.
Have a good day all.DC.

Morning everyone,
Glasgowgirl - if you read this I understand how you feel my dear. Please don't take this the wrong way. Believe me, alcohol does not take the pain and grief away. It is something we have to experience to come through the otherside. As painful as it can be, the most pain we can experience in our life if we numb it with substances the pain is only numbed for that time and will not go away. I really feel for you my dear take good care of yourself and take it a day at a time.

Morning all!
Nice and cheerful on here last night it seems! Sorry to have missed Jo and Fays pictures...you'll have to put them up again sometime so I can have a ganders!
40SM - 1 for me please! Feels good to be updating again rather than avoiding everyone and hitting the bottle
Another gorgeous day here. Piglet off to nursery at 1pm so I have a few hours to myself. I'm not much of a sunbather so won't be out laying in it but may do some tidying round the garden.
GG - sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch. Have a dodgy :grouphug:(they should really change that smilie to something more decent !:D)
Different_corner I envy you your early morning walk with the dog. My Dad says early morning walks at this time of year are the best - he goes out walking for hours with the dogs! Says it really sets you up for the day.
Budgie - you'll never be redundant round here. We all need you!
Anyway, best get on. Piglet trying to make sandwiches out of his beans, egg and bread. Looks messy!
Have good days everyone

Lucky people with doggies to walk. Both of ours died about two years ago and we decided that now the children have left home we wouldn't have another due to our work commitments but on days like this I really miss HAVING TO go for a walk.(Can't seem to motivate myself without a dog:D)
Mind you....I don't miss it when it's raining:cool::rotfl:

WHAT CAUSES ARTHRITIS?
A drunk man who smelled like beer sat down
on a subway next to a priest.
The man's tie was stained,
his face was plastered with red lipstick,
and a half-empty bottle of gin
was sticking out of his torn coat pocket.
He opened his newspaper and began reading.
After a few minutes the man turned
to the priest and asked,
"Say Father, what causes arthritis?"
The priest replies,
"My Son, it's caused by loose living,
being with cheap, wicked women,
too much alcohol,
contempt for your fellow man,
sleeping around with prostitutes
and lack of a bath."
The drunk muttered in response,
"Well, I'll be damned, "
Then returned to his paper.
The priest, thinking about what he had said,
nudged the man and apologized.
"I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to
come on so strong.
How long have you had arthritis?"
The drunk answered,
"I don't have it, Father.
I was just reading here
that the Pope does."DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

morning all, just a quick hi before I go to work. Am feeling better for not drinking.
Glasgowgirl - some great advice off peeps here, it's took me 13 years to not have a drink on my brothers anniversary (13 years yesterday), he was 26 when he died of cancer. Am sure he'd rather see me sober than abusing my life through goggle glasses! {{hugs}} to you hun - it'll come. XX0 -
Morning all:hello:
Well done to everyone for yesterday - we are all doing really well. Keep these scores coming in.
I am very very tired this morning as did not get any sleep last night _ not even one wink. DS2 went to visit his little friend and was playing with his cat and dog. DS2 then spent all last night weezing and struggling to breathe so I just cuddled him all night - I can't sleep when they are ill.
Taking him to the doctor later so no work for me today AGAIN . Not a lot of debt busting is going to happen this month as I will have no money :eek:. Never mind , at least its sunny.
Catch you all later.
