    Hi mely,
As it was good weather this morning i stood outside and did it,instead of painting it with brush strokes i just dabbed it on as it was decorative, didn't take long to do at all and because it wasn't thick paint it must have been about 15 mins in between coats. The effect is alot better now, wish i could do photos but 1) i'm a newbie and 2) i'm a bit of a technophobe and don't know how too:(

I love this thread and it is very addictive:)

Use PVA glue which is the white stuff that you used to use in primary school that peels off your hands when dry! :)

You can get it in craft shops or DIY stores. Use it reasonably sparingly but dab on enough to soak through the napkin. Best to use single layer of napkin (pull the layers apart) and rip off smallish pieces and layer them over each other on any thin parts or edges of the placque or whatever.

Thanks very much :T how do you get it all neat though like this one on ebay?

Also, Debenhams Cath Kidston mugs and beauty products are on sale here, and there are codes around for an extra 10% off and FREE delivery!

mugs from only £3 :D I sooo want to buy this.. but i dont drink hot drinks :(

You cheated ~ you showed me a picture, I had to go look :)
They are beautiful, that is a lovely site I now have a list of 6 things I NEED from there including the cake stands, tea plates and heart doilies!
This picture reminded me that I have a coffee set all wrapped up under my bed similar to these waiting for a shelf to go up so I can display them, must hunt them out tonight!
