Hi all,
I joined Sky about 6 years ago and cancelled about 3 years ago.
How long will I be on Sky's records?
How long before I am safe to sign up as a new customer?
I want to go for the FreeSat from Sky offer.
Thanx

If you're only going the FreesatfromSky route, it doesn't matter when you subscribed as you're not taking out a subscription.Dave. :wave:0

Well, technically I'm going down the Pay Once Watch Forever route - does that count?
Thanx

No, it shouldn't matter.
Just to add I believe if you have to be without Sky for 12 months to be classed as a new customer.Dave. :wave:0 -
Interesting thread this, I think OP's question has been answered, but I want to follow on if I may with similar question.
I'm looking to take out the offer here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1742717
However my predicament is that I took out Pay Once Watch Forever back in September 2008 and cancelled (easily I might add) in January 2009.
Now do I qualify for the offer detailed in the thread in my post in your opinion or not, based on being a "new user" or not?
I was never technically on a subscription for sky, just a one off bundle which i paid up front for then cancelled.
Also, if someone does have an answer, can you link me to the T&C clearly stating it, as i've searched the insides and outsides of Sky's website, yet cannot specifically see the answer.0 -
As you received subsidised equipment (the fixed fee for Pay Once deal is under cost price for the equipement based on you taking a 3 month subscription and possibly continuing) I would suggest you are not a new customer. However no harm in calling and asking where you stand.0
