Call Halifax and tell them you have had the same offer from somewhere else, or ask them what else they would be able to offer...

OH just got LOB for 3.9% from Bank of Scotland (Same as Halifax, just different brand, all credit cards dealt with in the same place) and I snapped it up on his behalf as before he transferred he was paying 21.9%.

I'm after some advice from you lovely people if you are able to assist me.

We have the budget all sorted out so far (though there are some problems I need to sort out at the moment, which are a work in progress at the moment)

What I need to know is how and what other things we can do to make some extra money - I know about quidco and have got other half onto that too. but thats it, I have heard of matched betting, daily and mystery shopping but don't know what web sites to go to or how these work, can anyone please offer me some help.

I know that some people manage to pay for xmas and such by doing things online so can anyone advise as my other half is really up to do things to help too.

Well the latest news is that I transfered £3,000 off the Virgin Card onto my halifax card for the special lob transfer and Virgin dropped my limit to under half the orig limit within 5 days of me doing this.

Infact they dropped it so much that once interest starts going on this car I will be OVER my limit :-(

Bit unfair if you ask me (though I know they can do what they like, should be grateful that they have not demanded the full balance paid back really)
