Buying each other a beer

On another forum I frequent... http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/

There is the ability to add your paypal address in your profile section. Then a little beer icon appears when you post. Then if someone feels wholeheartedly like thanking that person for the post - maybe it made them/saved them a lot of money, etc. They can click on that little beer icon (when you hover over it it says buy me a drink) and (I guess as long as they have paypal) I believe it credits that person with a couple of quid.

What would happen if that was available on this website?!

Everyone involved would click the abuse triangle, then they'd all be banned, then the Arms would shut down forever.

    I expect :rotfl:

Just 'cos you get £2 in your paypal account doesn't mean you'd have to spend it all on beer! I will probably get lynched for saying that in "The Arms"...

Bit confused... I meant if the owner of the website implemented a similar strategy.

I meant if you were given a couple of quid instead of every time you had been "thanked"... wouldn't that be nice?! Says you have been thanked 4037 times under your avatar...

Yeah I know people would be more stingy with their thanking if it was implemented. Still thought it was a good idea. Some people on here have saved me a fortune, I'd have clicked "buy a beer" to give them a couple of quid...
