Hi all,
I am umming and ahhing about this FreeSat deal:
http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/pay-once.aspx
It seems like I would get a new Sky Box and Dish and installation and 4 months viewing for £73.40.
Are there any better offers out there?
I joined Sky in about 2003 for about 3 years and then stopped. At the moment, our Sky dish/box no longer receives the Chinese PCNE and CCTV-9 channels and at times normal channels like BBC 1 which seem to work half the time - the other half I get error message 28.
I have done a reset of the LNB and checked the signal strength (100%) and the signal quality (around 75%).
I don't know if the problem is the Sky Box or the Satellite dish.
Is my best option to go for a package like this to get a new box and dish? Is this my cheapest route forward?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

Can you link from elsewhere to get freebies like M&S vouchers or make use of a recommend a friend scheme with this or cashback?0

£75 is printed on the box if you buy it in a shop, so most prices seem to be there or thereabouts.
I have seen a few posts about Asda selling it for £45. Whether it's across all stores and it still available I don't know.Dave. :wave:0 -
If you are going to get the POWF deal, then i would recommend you buy it directly from Sky, as it seems to create less complications should anything not go smoothly and it will all be logged on your account etc etc that you bought it directly from them so they wont hassle you about who offers the warranty etc etc0
