Triggles - they've never blocked anyone who's been off sick for as long as I've been there, so it seems a bit suspicious to me...
You 'could' be reading too much into it though.. what are your systems like usually? if its anything like the places I've worked they where always going down etc..

    Morning all!

Just read all the other thread but can;t quote anyone so have to try and remember what to say!

    Hugs for code.

    Yay for Ickle.

Elle and Tine - I don;t know about the recovery position, but the lying on your left is definitely true, As someone else said it's to do with a major artery which can be squashed by the weight of the baby if you lie on your back, reducing blood flow to baby and to you. But my MW said yesterday that you can lie on your back until about 32 weeks as long as you put a wedge or pillow under your right side to tilt you left a bit, althought ideally you should sleep on your left side (whci is why the dream Geniie puts you that way). I sleep both sides and often wake up on my back as well, as that's the most comfortable, which is why I asked the Mw about it.

I was going to do some gardening today but it looks like it's going to rain, so gonna catch up on washing instead so we have clothes to take to Paris on Tuesday. Yay! :D

Still feeling pants. Pregnancy insomnia seems to have well and truely kicked in. Have just been sick for the first time in ages. OH still in hospital. And feeling guilty for pawning my DS off every night with parents/ relatives, so i can get to the hospital to see OH. Poor DS is only getting to bed just before 9pm and hes usually tucked up by 7.30. Hes shattered too.

OH is getting more and more worked up with hospital. Have put him on loads of steroids so thats gonna do good for his moods. Was prescribed other medicin 2 days ago and still not recieved it. Supposed to move to a Gastro ward, but no beds. Fab!

Roll on saturday, at least theres no work for 3 days..

  • Hypno - that does sound odd... could you play innocent and just phone up and say you'd been trying to log on to keep in touch with things and it was blocked, must be some glitch, could they have a look? my boss is relying on me logging on throughout lol though there will be a cover person in at lower level.

Had a bit of a 'moment' again yesterday about having a girl -going to have a good chat with mum at the weekend. Am beginning to think a lot of this comes from what she thought about bringing up a daughter.
