I'm scaring myself silly looking up Thrombophilia (disorders that cause excessive blood clotting).
That's what I have been retested for. My last test came back as borderline for one type of thrombophilia.
On one hand it is scary and no doubt due to my weight on the other hand there may actually be a reason as to why I had the abruption the last time and that's quite a revelation.0 -
I'm here too - :j Just having a nice relax not as the nasty cramps have stopped for a while:j I found a walk around the park helped.
For those that are concerned about swine flu (I am sure i saw someone asking about this earlier - they were trying to get info from the helpline) they have posted a bit on nhs website about pregnant ladies and they have promised more info for pregnant ladies and children under 1 soon.0 -

I have, sort of. It's commonly referred to as 'sticky blood' and is one of the most common causes of miscarriage. I've not had a miscarriage thankfully. But it is also a cause of pre ecclampsia, which I have had. And it explains why I had an abruption the last time.
And now the wannabe medic in me is googling like mad! Not scared now, just hungry for information :rotfl: Now onto umbilical arterial wave formation and what mine meant....0 -
