Oooh ooh just remembered i met my mate from rugby yesterday first time she has seen me since i was preggers she is a midwife and when i mentioned that the doctor wont support a home birth for me she said if you can cope with the pain just stay at home until its to late then call them. To say i was shocked was an understatement i think my jaw hit the floor i expected the lecture on why its best to go to hospital.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hey all.. we've been out for a Maccys! Not the fancy dinner we were thinking of but we decided we wanted to get dressed up and make an effort for that but couldn't be bothered tonight. Just nice to get out the house.. Also went back to our house for a nosey at the progress and had a chat about what colour we want what room etc.
Going to go browsing for tiles and maybe have a neb in some show homes tomorrow to get ideas for the bathroom. I was all for plain white tiles, but my mum keeps showing me all these different snapshots in magazines and I just can't picture them in real life
Coincientially to what you've all been talking about, we also briefly talked about when to have our second. I had been saying in five years time cos that's when OH's debts should be paid off, but tonight I said "at least three years" and OH's reply was "..but I'll be 40 then!"It's the first time he's come out and said he's bothered about his age. He's 37 this November.. Maybe we'll aim for having had the second before I'm 28 which is Feb 2012 (when he'll be 39 and 4mths) so this one will be two and a half
I think I've worked all that out right!

Oh, and you have to have your normal eye test first...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I got a free trial at specsavers and stuck with them, currently pay £13 a month for my lenses (get 1 pair a month which lasts all month) and get half price glassesI've also just found out that i can claim free eye tests through work, and they go through specsavers too, so thats worked out perfect for me
edit: my free trial was keeping them for a month and going back after a month to see how i had gone on with them, so that seems loads better than vision express0 -
I might ring Specsavers to get my correct prescription and then pop into Tesco or something.
Elle - according to OH, this time next year I'll be pg again!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
