We have just been talking about the EuroMillions lottery tonight which I think is 125 million euro jackpot. What woudl you do with that sort of money? How much is too much to hand on to our unborn children - it could ruin their lives forever...
I never want to win a proper amount of money - too complicated! £50 would be nice, £5,000 even better but no more than a million! Do you think the fact that I am not greedy improves my chances of winning? It might, if I ever bought a ticket.......hehe:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I wouldn't mind winning 125million... I'd be sensible... I'm too tight not to be...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Sami - I am still in my PJs too! Thinking I should move and get ready before OH comes home ha ha.
I have been playing Bejewelled for the past hour whilst watching Frost. I just scored 42,600 which I am sure is good for my first shot (well, batch of shots)! Will keep trying, but if I get near 100,000, I am going to have to befriend you all!0 -
Nicki - my doctor speaks great English, and all the midwives at the clinic we've chosen have some level of English. Because insurance pays for everything, we've gone for the slightly less MSE option where we pay an additional cost of €50/night for an en suite double room in which Daddy can sleep with Mummy and baby. The clinic is where footballers' wives come to have their babies.
The MSE option for us would be the hospital I work at, and I don't want to be giving birth and knowing that my entire department is on standby and being constantly updated. So we're spending the extra hundred euro or so on the other and the hell with it. It's worth it for the family bonding time, the extra staff on site all the time and the definite English-speaking labour!
The only problem is that their antenatal classes aren't done in English so we needed an independent one. The one they recommended is going on holiday from next week till September, which is no use for us. We do have to choose another midwife to do the home visits (before birth and after - once a day for the first three days at home, then every two days for the first three weeks, then twice a week for a while longer). I suspect I'm going to want to be left alone!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I was debating whether to bother buying a ticket - don't do normal Lotto.
MIL fave saying 'When I win the lottery......'
I'd like to win enough to pay off Dad's mortgage, my mortgage, In lasw mortgage, buy mum a house, buy myself a bigger house, buy OH a new car and a bigger car for me. I would give each member of my family enough so they could live comfortably.
I think I would get too bored at home if I won too much - although OH said he wants a football team so maybe we could just stay at home producing babies at a rate of knots!!
Still here Claire?!!! Labour vibes to you xxA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I would be happy with enough money to buy a house somewhere else... The In Laws have said when they win the lottery they'll buy us a house... But only in Liverpool lol.. I said that's fine as long as they buy us a car tooA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... oh we could go on for ages with the "if I win the lottery" game!! so dangerous. I promise if we win to send everyone on the EDD list a round £20, :rotfl:
our first priority would be to buy a house (no way we can afford one for a long time yet normally) - then pay off ILs house & buy my parents somewhere to live, too!). then onto the fun stuff like flash cars, big TVs, etc etctop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
