Jenny - can't he cook you stuff that you can microwave like stew?

I would feel cruel asking him to prepare meals for me. I should learn how to cook anyway, I'm 29 and about to be a mum so it's about time! At uni I just lived on pasta but since OH's cooking my taste has improved so need to learn something more complicated. Also need to be able to answer my craving for healthy food like spinach and broccoli - never liked it before!

see I think cooking is easy :p maybe I'm a natural or something
When I was anemic I sat and ate a bag of spinach like a bag of crisps :rotfl:

Right.. done! :D It seems Bob has woken up so I didn't have much choice - he's doing washing machine impressions in there :(

Seems we need a few hugs, so *hugs* all round! :D

I have fab news on the baby fund front.. :o

My HiPG was paid today! :D I only got the form on 8th April and sent them off that day. Have moved it over to my Baby Fund, plus £50 from my grandparents, £21.62 from Envirofone and £9 from Lotto scratchcards that I've been meaning to cash in for ages. Going to update my signature in a min :)

Also, my mum got a letter this morning to say the savings bond she invested in last year is about to mature. Turns out that's apparently all MY money - the "lodge money" I used to pay when I lived here. It was only £150 a month but it's somehow built up to £4100+interest which she's giving me all back! Apparently the whole lodge money idea was just to get me used to paying my way but as my sister never did it (she moved out at 18 for uni and never came back - and cost them a lot of money in uni fees, accomodation then flat deposits and rent etc), they are giving me the money back! :jI'm going to pay off my car loan and credit card with it, then round it off to £2k ish and ask Mum to keep that as my emergency fund.

Anyway, two people at work have pointed out to me that my belly button sticks out now - and that's through two tops! (tight cotton tshirt and vest top) :o Everyone seems to be very excited for me to get to 30 weeks (this coming Sunday) - three quarters of the way there! :D

I was finally told that the woman they have in mind to do my temp cover is coming in for a meeting on Tuesday morning so they've asked for my mat leave dates. I'm starting mat leave on Mon 13th July, but on holiday the whole week before that and part-time for the two weeks before that. Only 32 working days left!!

Night Sami, I'm off to bed as well. Sorry Elle, have to leave you with your laundry bob.

I just got informed today that they are not getting a temp at my work to cover my maternity, they are going to get someone on a two year contract. Not sure what to make of that.

    Night!

I'm off back to bed.. I didn't look at the clock earlier but OH has just told me I had a four hours nap! I also had a headache earlier so took paracetamol - it's coming back again now but I don't want to take more tablets (don't think I've got any anyway!) so I'm going to try to sleep it off...

    Night night all xx

    Good morning ladies and bumps!

Labour Vibes to those who need or want them, I have no need so you can even have mine!

Another night where the tamazepam has worn off and so am up early. Will wait till 15 mins before OH's alarm is due to go off and get into bed for cuddles. I have found that sleepiing on our sofa bed means that we both get a better night sleep than if we share at the moment.:D

workinmummy - I am 38weeks and was prescribed codein by the docs last weekend. So if the pharmacy are difficult see a Dr who should be able to sort something out.:D

Officially 12 days till Csection date and 10 days till my Birthday!:D I am thinking of going to get my hair done as a treat as I last had my hair cut in June 2008 and its now got quite long. :rotfl:But can I get it dyed? I last did it about 4 months ago, but would a hairdresser be ok with doing it or should I just get OH to do the colour and get it cut by a Hairdresser? Decisions decisions!

Ooh Elle, that is great news on the baby fund front! Your HiPG must be the quickest yet which is great news for the rest of us who have yet to claim! Found out that I will be getting maximum bonus for last quarter, which I suspected but wanted confirmed. That is anoter £700 ish after tax for our baby fund, although I have £100 earmarked for a glider chair already!

Am off to the docs after work about my bad back. Spoke to my Mum last night and apparently she had the same thing at 4 months with me, who knows what it is? Will be glad to get checked out though.

    Hope everyone has a lovely day x x x.
