Hmm... Do I microwave the mince so it defrosts quicker and I can make a shepherds pie today... Or do I stick it in the fridge to defrost slowly, make shepherds pie tomorrow and get hubby to pop into Asda and pick me up a deli curry on his way home? Such decisions... Aimee has her friend coming round again tonight and she only eats yellow food... Could probably do them fish fingers...

Someone decide for me?

DON'T PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE

The smell of defrosting meat makes me wanna heave (and that before I was pregnant). I use a bowl of warm water so you could try that but ........

It's not a pleasant smell is it glam... I tend to take it out the packet and break it up normally to get it defrosting quicker but just felt so sick this morning... Not really much better now... But then I couldn't think of anything I fancied for lunch and to top it off I've now got raging heartburn... Can't wait till 7ish when hubby gets back with 4pts of milk!

KT - I think with mince you can cook it from frozen, just go easy on the heat. No-no for chick and pork, but parents used to cook from frozen, gradually breaking it up as it defrosted.

Glam - we ordered our stencils from 2 main sources littlemonkeymurals and stencilwarehouse.com . There isn't a huge amount of choice but these 2 were pretty good. We also ordered paints and adhesive from stencilwarehouse.

I cannot believe there is enough of a market for pregnancy fancy dress that you can actually get a maternity lion outfit :rotfl:

Unfortunately I think I'd be arrested for outaging public decency if I exposed so much thigh (they've only got worse and more tree-trunk like since PG )
